The Greenhouse is a three-day residential program for c-suite leaders to examine complex risks, test their thinking and identify practical action for their organisations.

Working in a small group with peers and experts, leaders draw on research, peer benchmarking and real case studies to explore how they identify risk, make decisions and lead through disruption.

The case for investment

In recent industry surveys, most Australian organisations reported experiencing some form of disruption in the prior two years, with employee retention (39%), supply chain (32%), technology (26%) and cyber attacks (20%) the leading faultlines.

Climate events, changing community expectations, funding uncertainty and shifts in technology and industrial conditions create interconnected challenges. Leaders must navigate these pressures while meeting their responsibilities to their organisations and the people they serve.

The Greenhouse creates dedicated time to examine these challenges, learn from others and determine where to act.

How it works

Over three days, participants explore real case studies with people who were involved. Together, they examine how risks develop, how crises unfold, the impact of decisions and what leaders can learn from the response.

Supported by experts, participants consider the bigger picture of risk, their role within it and the conditions affecting their organisations. Research, peer discussion and benchmarking help leaders test assumptions, identify gaps and determine practical next steps.

Confidential conversations in a focused, high-trust environment provide space to:

  • Explore emerging risks and issues of concern.

  • Test leadership thinking and organisational capability.

  • Compare approaches and learn from peers.

  • Examine how equity, trust, cooperation and curiosity inform effective responses.

  • Identify action to strengthen risk management and business continuity.

What participants take away

Participants leave with:

  • Evidence of focused executive attention to risk.

  • A benchmarked assessment of current capability.

  • Identified areas for future focus.

  • A network of peer support.

  • Opportunities to collaborate on business continuity.
